This video art piece is comprised of 1,589 hand drawn cells. The narrative of the piece has been informed by a short story I’d written, intertwining both worlds together. The narrative of the story and artwork as a whole intersect in the same way, with the story focuses on liminal spaces and the transitionary space between night and dawn — meshing the two worlds together.

I created a series of pure pigment paintings based off stills from my video art piece, “Night Ride”. I presented them in a decontextualised space which looked neither real nor unreal, referencing the digital nature in which the original video piece was conceived in.
